Development of Bridge Management System（ＮＥＸＣＯ－ＢＭＳ）

  
 


NEXCO-BMS is a support tool to evaluate the health of bridges, predict deterioration, select methods of repair and reinforcement, calculate the expenses, and decide on a maintenance plan. 
NEXCO-BMS is already used on NEXCO expressways and will further evolve by utilizing data accumulated through its operation.

  
     
 
It is necessary to make an accurate prediction of the deterioration in order to grasp the right timing to take countermeasures.
The system applies vast data acquired from on-site inspections and maintenance to the theoretical deterioration curve, and makes a precise deterioration forecast.		  
   

 
 
NEXCO-BMS assists deciding on medium and long-range repair and reinforcement plans by calculating the Life Cycle Cost (LCC), which is determined by the measures decided to be taken based on the deterioration forecast, and indicates appropriate measures and timing for maintenance.
